Tatar language

The Tatar language is Kypchak-Bolgar subgroup of Kypchak group of Turkic languages. According to the UNESCO, the Tatar language is one of 14 the most popular languages of the world.

In RT Constitution is said that the Tatar language along with the Russian is state language of the Republic of Tatarstan. RT State program for the Republic of Tatarstan official languages and other languages preservation, research and development for 2004-2013 years aims guaranteeing the Tatar language functioning as RT state language, the Tatar language preservation, research and development as basement of folk culture, full-fledged communicational media and the Tatar people consolidation.
