Radik Gaizatoullin was born on July 20, 1964, in Novye Tinchali village (Bouinsky district of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic).

In 1985 graduated from the Kazan Agricultural Institute, speciality - economy.

From 1986 to 1988 - accountant in collective farm "Mayak".

In 1988 worked as chief-economist of agro-industrial association of the Laishevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

From 1988 to 1999 - accountant of the "Birulinsky" state fur-farm, Vysokogorsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

From 1999 to 2001 - Head of the department, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan.

From 2001 to 2002 - First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since June 17, 2002 - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since March 26, 2010 - Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since April 22, 2010 - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan.
