Established on the initiative of Gennady A. Stefanovsky, an art school principal. His collection comprising over 600 items laid the foundation of the gallery. In 1987, the gallery was incorporated into the Fine Arts Museum as an affiliate.

The museum is dedicated to Baki Urmanche, a founder of Tatar graphic arts. Established as an NCC "Kazan" affiliate.

Established in 1969 with the aim to preserve historical and cultural monuments of Middle Volga and Kama peoples, the reserve comprises monuments of the largest cities in Volga-Kama Bolgari, Bolgar and Suvar. As a subdivision, the reserve incorporates the Spassk-Kuibyshev City Museum of History.
Museum stock of over 80,000 items being mostly the items of archaeological excavations.

Affiliate of the Tatarstan National Museum.
Established as a community school museum in 1977. Since 1983 it was incorporated into RT National Museum as a subdivision. In 1991, the exhibition "Family Album Pages" was opened in the reconstructed wing of the Baratynskys` estate on Gorky Street. The exhibition is based on the genuine items of that time; also exposed is a small collection of the Baratynskys memorabilia.

Opened in 1986 as an RT National Museum affiliate. The poet`s life and development is shown by means of the genuine typical exhibits of that epoch. The museum houses unique memorabilia.

Affiliate of the Tatarstan National Museum.
Opened in 1940, it is the first museum of literary and memorial character in the Republic. The museum was reconstructed in the late 80s and the early 90s, with exhibition space extended by means of an enlargement and new expositions created. Museum stock numbers some 40,000 items including unique collection of photographs, interesting book stock, memorabilia donated by the Peshkovs. The Museum houses and exhibits a collection of F.I. Chaliapin memorabilia.

Lenin Memorial House

Opened in 1937 in the house where the Ulyanovs lived from September 1888 to May 1989. The rooms occupied by the Ulyanovs were restored.
A documentary exhibition is displayed in the enlargement to the house.


Lenin Memorial Museum

Opened in 1939. In 1985 to 1987 undergone restoration and reconstruction of the former country estate of A.D.Blank, Lenin`s grandfather on the maternal side. The house and buildings were restored, a park and an orchard have were laid out. The exhibition dedicated to life of V.I. Lenin during his first political exile is set in the house and the enlargement.

Opened in 1895 as Kazan City Public Museum. The museum was based on the collection of A.F.Likhachev, a local lore scholar. The Museum is a treasury of the Republic`s museum valuables. Museum stock numbers over 700,000 items of Tatarstan and world culture.
Since 1981 it has become a museum association incorporating 72 museum affiliates of historical, local lore, literary and memorial character.

Opened in 1993 as an RT National Museum subdivision. The museum occupies a two-storied outbuilding in the yard of G.Kamal Tatar Academic Theatre, where the composer lived from 1928 to 1954 and created his best works.
Small music salon hosts chamber parties and musical evenings.

Affiliate of the Tatarstan National Museum.
Established as an RT National Museum affiliate in 1944 in the house where the writer lived since 1928.
Exhibition comprises reconstructed flat furnishings, the writer`s personals and archives.

The only country`s museum of the prominent Russian artist, a founder of realistic landscape painting.
Opened in 1960 in the house of the Shishkins where the artist spent his childhood and youth and which he later visited on repeated occasions in the days of his creative maturity. The appearance and furnishings of the living rooms were restored and the genuine works of the artist are displayed there.

The museum was founded in 1958 on the basis of the Picture Gallery of the State Museum of Tatarstan.
The museum`s collection numbers over 21,000 paintings, drawings and sculptures. The largest collection is of drawings including those of Western European origin comprising works by artists of the Netherlands, Holland, Flanders, Italy, Germany such as Duhrer, Rembrandt, Luca of Leiden, Rubens` Studio. Unique collection of the Old Russian paintings of the late 15th - the early 19th centuries. Among the Russian Art collection are the works of D.Levitsky, I.Aivazovsky, K.Bryullov, V.Tropinin, A.Savrasov, V.Polenov, I.Repin, V.Serov, etc.>Remarkable collection of I.I.Shishkin. Small collection of the Russian avant-garde artists of the late 19th - the early 20th centuries. Rich and diversified art of Tatarstan including unique and the world`s largest collection of N.I.Feshin`s paintings.
